United Middle School

Excellence is the Expectation

USTEM Overview

Join Our USTEM!

USTEM is a specialized 'school within a school' academic program located here at United Middle School.

The academy is designed to provide students with a rigorous course of study focused on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Students engage in advanced coursework and project-based learning to develop their reasoning, teamwork, and creative skills. Our lessons emphasize the design process, hands-on inquiry, and open-ended exploration. To remain in the program, students must meet STAAR standards in Reading, Math, and Science, and maintain satisfactory attendance and behavior.
